Since update to 3.5.0, IP addresses are not displayed anymore

Hello,

I don’t know if it’s a bug but since the automatic update to version 3.5.0 of Matomo, IP addresses are not displayed anymore in Visitors in Real-time.

Yet in Administration / Privacy / Anonymize data I have selected:
Select how many bytes of the visitors’ IPs should be masked.
1 byte(s) - e.g. 192.168.100.xxx

What can I do to display back IP addresses ?

Hi,

The IP addresses are just not displayed in the widget any more.

They are stil visible via the visitor log or visitor profile.

The next release will bring them back as tooltips in the live widget.

If I had known I wouldn’t have updated Matomo.
Is there a date for the next release that will bring them back in the live widget?

They are already back, you can see them if you hover over the country flag.

Yes, true. By this way we can’t copy/paste the ip address easily to check the location with an online tool like https://www.iplocation.net and compare it with what is given by Matomo.

To me, for “Visitors in real-time”. IP and location should be displayed directly to be seen at a glance.

In that case I’d click on the “detailed visitor log” and copy the IP from there.
