I am having a problem getting any data to track. I am new to Piwik and I realize that my question is very general. I am using wordpress on a hostgator hosted server. Version of WP is 3.0 and I installed the tracking code in my footer.php. I did find a thread here: forum.piwik.org/index.php?showtopic=14011
that told me I need to contact hostgator support and change some security settings. Well, I did that, and it seems I still can’t track data. Correction. I tracked my own visit. Once. Still cannot track.
I have my piwik installation running on another domain name. I am using a hostgator resellers account so it may or may not be the same IP (I don’t know if this is relevant, but thought I’d still supply as much detail as I can).
Please ask me what other information I can provide to help get this solved. I want to get away from google analytics. Thanks!
