Hi, I have read all topics related to keyword not defined but at the end when you need to calculate search engine ranking in your site
" keyword not defined" is not helping to improve you view for seo.
In same web site I can get keyword referals with google web master tools
in piwik I can only see how many people and which devices come to web site which is not usefull.
As to my question, do I have way to know in piwik reports to see
which keywords search in search engines and which ones click to my web site ?
Since Google stopped including the search keyword in the referrer, there is no way to find out what a visitor searched before he came to the page.
The only solution would be using the SearchEngineKeywordsPerformance premium plugin, which imports the data from the google (and bing) webmaster tools and lets you view it inside of Matomo (and therefore also store it indefinitely)
I really have to disagree. This feature is entirely optional and has nothing to do with the tracking of the site. It isn’t possible to create new data as Google doesn’t share it, so it only provides the convenience of seeing the data of the webmaster tools inside of Matomo.
only data I can get is how many visitors came to page and their config
but nothing related to which keywords took attention,
which keywords searched and I should focus and implement to site
which you say without payment and plugin, piwik cant do it.
am I missing something in here, please enlighten me if I am.
PS. I am comparing all data with seopanel, google web masters and some other seo analytic tools.
If you have an idea where Matomo should get this data from, I’m open to suggestions.
For an internal search Matomo already can do all that. (Because there it’s easy to track what somebody searched for and what he clicked on the search page)
