I currently am running my site with google analytics. What makes piwik different? Will it work with my site? Also does Piwik have a app for iPhone? Please let me know.

Piwik is an open source web analytics application, users can create plugins to it. A very important feature is that it is self-hosted, only users can see their own data, nobody else, unlike in Google Analytics that has access to user’s data. A very comfortable feature is that reports can be regularly reveived by e-mail.
