Web Analytics - error when creating report - server temporary issue


I am trying to create basic pages report from Today data, but i keep receiving all the time following error:

Oops… there was a problem during the request. Maybe the server had a temporary issue, or maybe you requested a report with too much data. Please try again. If this error occurs repeatedly please contact your Matomo administrator for assistance.

Our client is using on-premise version, so the question is that what can we for this issue at the agency or should we ask our client (who own the on-premise) to do something for this in their end?

The best way to find out what’s wrong is to check the (php and webserver) error log of the server.

If you are seeing the error after waiting for some time, it might be the cae that the request takes longer than the maximum allowed time on the server and gets aborted by the server.
