Visits - Devices shows more Visits than segmentation

Hi there,

I have a question regarding the segmentation. If I look up our visits in Visits - Devices we have
31.093 Visits with a smartphone.

If I add a segmentation - device type - smartphone the visits go down to 6.000. I do not understand why this is the case?

Can you help me out?

Hi Christoph,

I think this could be a bug, as I would also expect to see the same numbers when segmenting to Smartphones. Do you mind creating a bug report on our tracker? Issues · matomo-org/piwik · GitHub
