Visitors vs. visits vs. pageviews

Hi,

I’m looking for an easy way to explain visitor, visit, unique visit, and pageview - in relation to each other - to a decidedly non-technical audience. Can you point me in the right direction?

I support netinsight application which from IBM and all these configurations are looked same i believe in PIWIK and Netinsght…,

Visitor - user visited the site
Visit - number of visits and every 30 mins the visit get accumulated and each visit can have multiple views.
Unique Visit: This is single visit a user visited the site. I am not sure what is this time limit in the PIWKI, in netinsight it is 20 Mins.
Page view: is caombination of Visit+views+pages.
