Hello,
we are investigating Matomo as a GDPR web analytics tool and have setup an up running an on-prem (v.4.13) installation using cPanel.
We have a question regarding the visitor’s originating country. A large number of WordPress websites has been setup so far and their location/region has been set to “Cyprus - Nicosia”. The issue is that local visits (from Cyprus and nearby country Greece) are little to none registered in Matomo. A high number of visits registered is from the USA.
DBIP / GeoIP 2 (Php) geolocation module is installed and enabled.
Is there any configuration that we are missing out?
