Visitor IP range as Segment filter?

Hello All,

can I set a range of visitor IP addresses or a wildcard, e.g. 1.2..?

I tried “contains” but this doesn’t work.

thanks for the quick reply, it works.

Only with the custom segment editor such a comparison can’t be set currently (Piwik 1.12).

VisitorIP is now a “dimension” not offering these comparisons, I changed the type to “metric” in API.php but I’m afraid that’s not very elegant.

Maybe it’s cleaner to allow more comparisons also for “dimension”?

Good point. I think we should do an exception for this segment. can you create a ticketset to 2.0 roadmap in dev.piwik.org ?
