Version 4.0.0 Upgrade Problem

After upgrading to v4 I received the following error message on the dashboard

The plugin DisableTracking could not be loaded as it has missing dependencies: DisableTracking requires Piwik <4.0.0. Please contact your Matomo administrator.

When I look in Plugins, the DisableTracking plugin is “Inactive” with a similar message

DisableTracking requires Piwik <4.0.0.

Any guidance is VERY appreciated, thanks

Hi,

The plugin DisableTracking doesn’t support Matomo 4 (it hasn’t been updated in 4 years)

So either ask the plugin author to make it compatible with Matomo 4: https://github.com/lippoliv/piwik-plugin-disabletracking

Or follow the developer guide to modify the plugin yourself: https://developer.matomo.org/guides/migrate-matomo-3-to-4

Or uninstall the plugin, if you don’t need it anymore.
