Upgrading from 2.3.0 to 2.7.0

I have a install I’d like to upgrade from 2.3.0 to 2.7.0 . Can I do this by just doing the 2.7.0 upgrade or do I need to upgrade through the intermediate versions?

Note that the DB is quite big on this install so I can’t do the update through the website - instead I have to do it the console way, if that makes any difference to the answer.

you can directly upgrade once to the latest version, everything is handled by Piwik!

it should work from any version such as 0.X
