Upgrading from 1.1.1 to 1.3

We are looking to upgrade from 1.1.1 to 1.3 for a small Piwik server. We had tried to go to 1.2 but problems forced us to revert to a backups.

Can we just use the button on the the site for this upgrade?
I assume it will update the files then will run the database updates in sequence to go from 1.1.1 to 1.2 to 1.2.1 to 1.3. Is that correct?

Yes it will run all updates in between that you haven’t ran.
