I have inherited a Matomo 5.2 install and I am wondering what is the best process to upgrade to 5.11.1? I tried jumping straight and I’m getting the error below. Do I need to do some kind of stepped upgrade?

Is there a way to run the database migrations from CLI? After running through the upgrade for the fourth time, it appears the migrations are getting stopped either by an nginx, php, or some other timeout.
Yeah, jumping straight from 5.2 to 5.11.1 can sometimes cause issues like that. Best to take a full backup of the DB and files first, then try the update via CLI with php console core:update --yes. If it still fails or the reports stay empty, restore the backup and go in smaller steps through intermediate 5.x versions, then force a re-archive afterward if the data looks missing.
