Upgrade doesn't work

I’m running Matomo in Kubernetes and it works fine. Almost.

But it’s reporting that it’s running version 3.11.0 and that 3.12.0 is available. The app is running in a Docker container from the Dockerhub image matomo:3.12-fpm, so it should be upgraded. Nevertheless, it claims it still runs 3.11.0.

How can that be?

I unfortunatly can’t help at all as I know too little about docker and Kubernetes, but this sounds a bit like docker image 3.10 distributes matomo 3.9 files from volume after update · Issue #161 · matomo-org/docker · GitHub

Hi Lukas,

That looks very much like it: How on earth are you supposed to do a proper upgrade using the official Docker image?
