I’m currently running Piwik 1.12 and need to bring the install up to date. I suspect that I will not be able to update directly to the newest version (2.90) without running into significant problems. Is there anywhere I can access and download past versions. I have not been able to find an archive of past releases.

I am interested in this topic too, since I have to upgrade from Piwik 1.3.0. If you manage to do it in several steps please let us know which versions you installed.
It should work fine to upgrade from 1.12 to 2.9.0 - we try to keep the upgrade working from 1.0 (and we have an automated test for it even)
Thanks for the link JagerBomb, I’ll let you know how it turns out. I’m going to first try updating straight to 2.9.1 from 1.12, then try going incrementally if that doesn’t go well.
Matt - Any idea (ballpark) how long a DB update could take on an install with a total database size of 13GB?
