if I try to update automatically there is the following message:
Error while creating the file: /srv/www/htdocs/web97/html/piwik/tmp/latest/latest.zip
What can I do? What is the problem?

The directory/file permissions on tmp (or tmp/latest) don’t allow the web server to create tmp/latest/latest.zip.
