we run a penetration test on our Matomo 4.12.0 environment and one of the issues we got was the old jQuery version. See https://security.snyk.io/package/npm/jquery/2.2.4
The test recommend us to update to version 3.6.3
I think jQuery comes with the Matomo version so this would be something that has to be fixed within Matomo. What do you think about upgrading to a newer jQuery version in future versions of Matomo?
