Unknow location with geoip

Hello,

I have a problem with geoip.

It shows location:unknown in the admin interface but I have the databases for countries and cities installed and known by Piwik (it tells me they are accessible).

Any help ?

Hi, could you answer the following questions?

  1. If you put your IP address into the GeoIP demo here: GeoIP2 Database Demo | MaxMind does a correct location show up? If not, the IP address you’re trying to geolocate might not be correctly mapped in the GeoIP database.

  2. Which location provider are you trying to use? (ie, the GeoIP PHP implementation, GeoIP PECL module or a server module?)

Maybe your IP address is not part of the GeoIP database, since the accuracy is not perfect. Maybe you can suggest the improvements to Maxmind directly?
