My goal is to find out how many unique visitors are viewing ie, 4 pages over a given time period. How many have only seen 1? Unique visits doesn’t answer this because I can have 1000 unique visits but they only see one page. Unique pageviews doesn’t answer this because it’s calculated on a per-page level. If one page has 2 unique pageviews and another page has 2 unique pageviews, are those the same two visitors? There’s no way to know.
One report that comes close to this is the ‘Visits per number of pages’, but this isn’t unique visitors. It could be the same five people who view 5 pages x 10 and then view 7 pages x 10. It’s not 20 unique visitors, it’s 5.
