I have created a custom report that with several “unique” metrics, e.g. unique userID and unique custom dimension, to e.g. not count returning users more than once.
When I check the result of the custom report the results for the “unique” metrics are not correct. To check this I compared the results of the custom report to the segmented visit log. While all other data in the custom reports are correct, all “unique” metrics are usually too high (and, e.g. userIDs are not counted as unique).
Is this the intended behavior of the “unique” metrics, or am I doing something wrong?
