I am new to Matomo (I have worked with Google Analytics). So far I have managed to set up a couple of sites in Matomo and generate data for them from our web applications.
When I try to create a goal I get the following error:
“Oops… there was a problem during the request. Maybe the server had a temporary issue, or maybe you requested a report with too much data. Please try again. If this error occurs repeatedly please [contact your Matomo administrator]”.
I asked our Matomo administrator to follow the FAQ regarding this issue. Autoarchive was activated. He couldn’t find anything about this issue in server logs.
Any suggestions on how to approach this problem?
For other Matomo sites (not set up by me) it is possible to create a goal.
