Traffic identification?

i did a search for “paid” and “paid advertising”, but didn’t see any results for this so…

is it possible to tell if the traffic is coming from organic search or paid traffic (adwords, yahoo search marketing or other pay per click search engines)?

I would put a referrer at the end of paid links.

thanks for the reply. is there a referrer script with piwik? sorry if this is a newbie question, i am still trying to work out everything =D
