Tracking Google Adwords CPC traf

Hi,

I have read Matomo’s documentation on tracking CPC clicks and have come up with URLs built as follows :

xxx.com?pk_source=google_cpc&pk_medium=cpc

In my matomo reports, I expected that this would create a new “type of channel” called google_cpc or cpc, but it did not seem to.

What should I expect from this setup ? And how can I effectively track and differentiate search engine CPC traffic from search engine organic traffic ?
