Track a qr code campaing (concept validation)

Hello I have a stupid question but I am looking for validation
I have to track people who arrive at my home https://www.monsite.com
but coming from a QRcode for those distinguished from “normal” users
what is the best :

make a campaign url like https://www.monsite.com/?mtm=qrcode
make a goal like https://www.monsite.com/qrcode and a qrcode redirection to my home on my CMS?

Both will work, provided that your URL parameters are correct, something like https://www.monsite.com/?mtm_campaign=my_campaign&mtm_placement=qr
You can have the tracking parameters in the QR code or in the redirect, as long as the visitor arrives on the page where the Matomo code is executed with these parameters.
