Tmp_path in IIS / Windows environment

I’m viewing the Config file under Diagnostic, and for tmp_path currently the following is set:

/tmp

However, I’m running Matomo on IIS and under Windows, folders use backslash \

Thus, do I need to change the config.ini.php or is Matomo smart enough to adjust to this automatically?

This should be perfectly fine.
I’m no Windows expert, but I’m pretty sure PHP supports paths with “/” everywhere and they work on Windows as one would expect.

Thanks for your feedback, @Lukas, and interesting point about this probably being handled by PHP.
I’ve been seeing some strange faulty behavior as of late, and I’m trying to rule out all possibilities. I’ll try to look into this further.
