BACKGROUND: The manual explains how to track events based on event category, action, and name, but it appears to say nothing about tracking by event URL. This said the manual’s section on segmentation lists four ways to segment events including:
eventCategory
eventAction
eventName
eventUrl
The Matomo glossary offers no clue, and Matomo segmentation guide only tells us that the URL must URL encoded. What the manual does not appear to tell us is how to set the URL event.
QUESTION: Is this handled by the enableLinkTracking() in the event tracking script.
