The API does not return any information for a given day when visitors = 0

Hello,

I’m tracking the number of unique visitors on a segment of my website. In order to have a complete overview I want to know when we had 0 unique visitors for a given day. The problem is that the API does not return any information when unique visitors = 0.
Is there a way to get this information through the API?
