Stupid question

Hi,
newbie illiterate here. style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/blink.gif
managed to instal PIWIK, solving some CHMOD problems on the way (changed the installation files and reinstalled).
Copied the script into the website that I want statistics from
and now:

Where do I find visit data? Where do I login as superuser?
It must be easy but I cannot find it.

thanks in advance

if you’ve installed piwik in a subfolder try open “http://domain.com/piwik/

hi
tried that.
then it re-installs PIWIK (which is not neccesary of course
it should be there somewhere???

try open “/index.php?module=CoreHome&action=index&idSite=1&period=day&date=yesterday”

sure that piwik installs correctly?

regards

hi
it says that it does not find the configuration file
that is possible because the installation is
www.mydomain.nl/httpdocs/piwik/…

but access is through
www.mydomain.nl/piwik

there is a redirect active.
I will have to change the path to the config file

do you know where the path to the config file is defined
do you know where the config file is located?

many thanks already

redirect? source? destination?

config files are:
/piwik/config/config.ini.php
/piwik/config/global.ini.php

SOLVED!!! style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/laugh.gif
It was in the rights on the config dir. They were not sufficient.
I CHMOD it and then it worked, beatifully

The changes that were necessary for install were

IN the installation files
1 add /templates_c in the /TMP, with 777 rights
2 add /cache in the /TMP, with 777 rights
3 change rights to 777 for the CONFIG file

maybe add a remark that you can find the dashboard under
www://mydomain.com/piwik . . .

many thanks, later style_emoticons/<#EMO_DIR#>/rolleyes.gif
