Friends, I have just set up a new Matomo instance. It seemed to work fine for a day or so. Then I started importing older access.log files via misc/log-analytics/. After a few hours of successfully importing 20+ log files SQL errors started to apear whilke some widgets started to show errors/no data.
It got worse over night - the last sql error says SQLSTATE[42S02]: Base table or view not found: 1932 Table 'matomo_log_link_visit_action' doesn't exist in engine By now I can’t even log in into Matomo to post the widget’s errors.
Questions:
- Can I fix this it whithout loosing tracked data?
- How can I avoid this happing again? Should I avoid importing access.log files?
Environment:
Dedicated hardware server
Debian bullseys / kernel 5.10.0-23-amd64
PHP 8.2.7 / nginx/1.18.0 with a standard fpm setup
php memory_limit 256M
php max_execution_time 120
1 vhost for main website + 1 vhost for Matomo, nothing else
mariadb Ver 15.1 Distrib 10.5.19-MariaDB
