SitesManager.addSite Do I use rest? I need to add bulk sites

I need add bulk sites to piwik. I know that I need to use SitesManager.addSite but I am unsure how I start accessing this. I am using PHP.

Do I use REST or can someone give me an example of using this with PHP?
