SiteSearch logs as search url parameters different to those configured

Hi,

Matomo 3.11 with Site Search activated.

I have left the URL parameters at the default (“q, query, s, search, searchword, k, keyword”), and it works well detecting site searches.

However, I also have some URLs with different parameters, like this one:
mysite.org/data?file=a_file.txt

When I look at the visitors log, this is also recognized as a site search with an “undefined” keyword. My understanding is that this should have been ignored, as ‘file’ is not in the list defined in the configuration.

Am I missing something here?
