BACKGROUND: I have built three custom search engines for my site. Each engine performs a search in a different MySQL data table. You may see how they work by clicking under the subheading Local Search on the Grammar Captive mainpage.
QUESTION: I have noted a Matomo method called trackSiteSearch(). I have also noted several different search parameters used for tracking and reporting. May I use the trackSiteSearch() method to track behavior of my custom-built search engine? If so, I would I go about implementing it. If not, how might I modify it so that it only tracks the aforementioned designated searches?
