installation went fine. However shell_exec is disabled by default at my hosting provider one dot com. What can I do? I believe some Web Hosting Providers disable it by default for security reasons.
I got a reply from my Web Hosting Provider one dot com. For security reasons, they will not enable shell_exec
PHP command. I suppose the shell_exec command is important for deleting reports on some pre-defined
time intervals as well as for some other important functionalities of matomo?
I noticed a slight glitch under settings. When I switch to another language and hitting the “Save” button. I need to logout and login again for the interface to work properly.
