Session duration goal?

Hi there!

I would like to set up a goal based on the session duration. For example, measure how many sessions have a session duration of 10 sec. or longer. Is this possible in Matomo?

Hi Martine,

it is possible to create goals based on session duration. For example:
a goal is achieved when a visitor stays 10 seconds longer on a page.

There is no standard goal type ‘session duration’, is that correct? So do I need to make a custom event or set up a manual goal by adding JS to the code?

Hello Martine,

I made a printscreen.

In the right corner below you see the option to select the trigger of the goal: Stay for a certain amount of time.
This is option is available from version 3.11.
