I track a custom variable (hostname) that I use to be able to see reports on different areas of my website separately. Therefore I use a segment that queries exactly this custom variable value.
Now I noticed that the report ‘Custom Variables’ displays other variable values under the corresponding segment and I am confused. Why isn’t only the one variable value displayed there?
