Same goal across multiple sites?

Hi,

I’m using the same website codebase for a number of sites, so it is difficult to set (and create) goal ids for each site. Is it possible to create a single set of goals for one site and reuse the ids of these goals across all sites? Or maybe there is a better way?

Tried this and it doesn’t work.

Looks like I’ll have to set up the goals with the API.

Hello Matt/Matomo team. Understand this is pretty old ask, but still see the importance of it.

Would it be possible to setup the Goals in a similar way as setting up the Segments ? that are applicable and processed for multiple websites and not just a single website?

Any reason for restricting this only to a specific website?
