RssWidget Error

Hello,

Brand new user to Piwik here, and so far liking it!!

Periodically, we are getting a series of warnings when navigating around the Piwik Dasboard such as the following:

I’m wondering if I don’t have a PHP module enabled properly.

There seems to be a problem with the plugin which fetches the piwik RSS feed to show you news in the admin interface. Of course the simplest solution is disabling the plugin, which of course avoids the issue.

Other than that it seems like piwik is trying to fetch the RSS XML but gets a HTML file back which it isn’t able to parse. Maybe there was a temporary issue on piwik.org and you just loaded the page in the wrong moment.
