RSS Pixel tracking

Hello and nice to see that the forum has moved to Discourse!

I run my own piwik instance and have a wordpress site tracked with wp-piwik. I have enabled RSS tracking via tracking pixel.

I am concerned that Piwik is showing me visitor data that include bots and crawlers parsing my RSS feed. More so, because I have 3rd party data (Mailchimp RSS campaign) that show a lower open data.

What is your experience with RSS pixels and how do you deal with it?

Still wondering about this. It seems the best way to track RSS stats is via server logs. Is there a guide to doing this without importing (duplicating?) all JS tracked stats? RSS is the only thing that need be tracked this way.
