Rookie question

Hi,

I’ve pasted the Matomo suggested code into the headers of my website, but when using the test button, it seems not to work.

Can someone tell me what I did wrong?

The code seems installed correctly and is being executed with code 200. So from the outside it looks good.
depending on how you set things up (archiving) you should see numbers building up.
What do you mean with “when using the test button”?

You can check diagnostics in matomo settings for any problems.

thanks for checking for me. It seems I didn’t make a mistake after all. Tracking data is indeed appearing.

The testing I was referring to, was the 4th step when following the Matomo Step By Step Guide for setting up a new site. Probably some kind of caching was the culprit here.
