I’d love to see the option display a visitor’s hostname in addition to or instead of IP address in the visitor log and live visitor widget.
All it would take would be a call to gethostbyaddr($ip_address) in the php code… although I suppose an additional column in the DB to store the result would also be required. Being able to choose IP and/or hostname for display would be most flexible, however, I imagine that most users would rather see the hostname (you could tell immediately what ISP, company, internal host, etc… the visit was from).
