I just installed Piwik for my website and test visited it.
I’m running Linux Mint 18.1 on my laptop but Piwik recognizes it as ‘Mac’. I was unable to find any more detailed specification, just ‘Mac’. All the other parameters (browser, screensize etc.) are perfectly fine.
It’s hard to imagine I’m the first one seeing this, unless I’m the only one having this problem. Has anybody an idea what is going on?

can you post this as a bug report in: GitHub - matomo-org/device-detector: The Universal Device Detection library will parse any User Agent and detect the browser, operating system, device used (desktop, tablet, mobile, tv, cars, console, etc.), brand and model. ?
Ok, did so. Sorry for the late reply, I checked later the day for any replies and thought there were none.
@LPTM4 would you be so kind and look up your useragent and attach it to the ticket. Otherwise I can’t do anything to improve the detections…
