My MySQL-Version is 5.0.45.
Are there any known problems with this version? Is it too old for Piwik 0.6.x?

I now tried to install 0.6.3:
simillar errors. The first archiving process works completely fine, but then the same problems as before.
Besides the usual errors there is one new error message in the dashboard:
Fatal error: Call to a member function filter() on a non-object in /srv/www/vhostsxyz/httpdocs/piwik/core/ViewDataTable.php on line 376
0.5.5 still works fine.
It seems that I have to stick to 0.5.5 for ever…

I’m not able to test Piwik against MySQL 5.0.45 (released July 2007). Community edition 5.0.51 seems stable for many users.
The latest in the 5.0.x series is MySQL 5.0.91 (released May 2010). However, in December 2009, MySQL 5.0.x reached its end-of-life and is no longer actively developed.
With regards to the “filter” error, we’ll need more info. Do you have a stack trace in your web server logs? What version of php? What plugins were installed? Which widgets were affected?

It seems to be a bug within MySQL 5.0.45.

Finally updated our server to the newest php & mysql-versions.
Afterwards update from Piwik 0.5.5 >>> 1.1.1 without any major problems.
