I am trying to use one of the free I2P databases with Matomo. Some of the documentation shows an example where somebody is using the “LITE DB11” version, which I have manually obtained and uploaded to the “Analytics/misc” folder on the server. Matomo doesn’t seem to like that database as it gives me an error message:
**Your geolocation provider (IP2Location) is broken. Please fix the provider, or set up another one.
IP2Location BIN database not found.**
and
**Error:**IP2Location BIN database not found.
Lookup Mode: BIN Database
Database File: IP2LOCATION-LITE-DB3.IPV6.BIN
If I go into the settings for I2P, it only gives me an option to use DB1 or DB3, and the associated LITE versions 1 and 3, but none of the other versions. If I choose LITE DB3 from the pulldown list, the error goes away but then I am using a less detailed database.
Does Matomo not support other DB versions beside DB1 and DB3? If it does, how do I get it to use DB11 if there is no option on the pulldown list? Is there a config file somewhere than I can manually edit to add this functionality for DB11?
