Piwik.xx.xx.xx /http is CRITICAL

Hi

I have been having the following issue for the last couple months:

***** centreon Notification *****

Notification Type: PROBLEM
Service: http

Host: piwik.xx.xxx
Address: xx.xx.xx
State: CRITICAL

Date/Time: 27-04-2020/13:22:30 Additional Info : CRITICAL - Socket timeout

Been trying to figure out what is the cause but to no luck , the quick fix has been to restart the apache server : systemctl restart httpd24-httpd

which fixes the issue for a couple days, till the next warning.

Any help in troubleshooting or correcting this issue would be appreciated.

System Info :
OS :Red Hat 7.7 (Maipo)
Apache : httpd24-httpd-2.4.34-15.el7.x86_64
Matomo version: 3.13.4
MySQL version: 10.2.8-MariaDB
PHP version: 7.2.24

Hi,

I don’t know what centreon is and what kind of monitoring you have set up with it, so maybe you should check the documentation of the monitoring for more information about what the errors indicate.

centreon - just tells you if a service is up or down does not get any extra info - all it says cannot reach the URL.

Hence i need to restart the Apache , have looked at the linux error logs as well
