first of all, great software!
ok, now… we installed piwik on http://www.arvixe.com/ and added the javascript on our website.
first 20 minutes was a dream… counted 2000+ visits and then it stopped.
we have no idea why, we didnt do or change anything or any of the settings.
we do get 300,000 daily visits… could this be the reason? but crapping out on only 2k visits cant be right?
please help us… we thought we were free of google analytics.

Check the Apache error log, and/or try the 1.4 release candidate.
motni, I don’t think Arvixe hosting at 7$ per month will work with 200,000 visits… it is designed for smaller websites. For 200k visits a day, you will need your own server I’m afraid!

thats what I thought… because it worked for 20 minutes then stopped.
how about a rackspace cloud server?
i just wish i knew how to install it, its whyI went with Arvixe.

Installing Piwik is very easy, you will be able to do it yourself: Installing Piwik - Analytics Platform - Matomo
lol, Matt. its amazing how complex things are when you dont know what your doing.
My server person is a windows guy, and has been trying to install this for for 6 hours now.
I would pay someone to install it but I dont know where to look for that someone.

For the 15 minutes piwik worked it was awesome! I cant wait to get back on it.
