Piwik in Moodle 3.0

Hello

I am responsible for the upgrade of an institutional Moodle with a large number of existing course areas. the upgrade this year will be from Moodle 2.8 - 3.01 and I would like to be able to use Piwik for learning analytics. When I look in the Moodle plugins directory I can see that it is up to date for version 2.8 but nothing for my version.

I have two questions,
Does anybody on this forum have experience using Piwik with Moodle 3+ ?
Is there anybody here who could share their experiences.

Maybe you could contact the developer of the plugin for Moodle 2.8 and work with them to prepare it for moodle 3? it would be useful! All the best
