Piwik for joomla installation problem

Hi,

I’m trying to install piwik at my joomla website using the following extention:
//extensions.joomla.org/extensions/site-management/site-analytics/10370
Now, I’ve installed the .zip file through the joomla backend of my website. The plugin is enabled. But a strange thing happens with the component. When I click on piwik in my list of components I see a big green button with the words “Install Piwik for Joomla” on it. But when clicking this button, nothing happens.
Now I’ve checked the piwik component folder with my ftp-program, but this directory seems to be empty. I’m guessing this is why the big green install button isn’t working. But my question now is, which files should be apearing in the component folder? Maybe I can add these manually somehow?

Or if this is a problem in the extension that can not be fixed. Is there another way to install Piwik onto a Joomla website?

Yes, install Piwik in normal way:

http://piwik.org/docs/installation/

Go to the Joomla-Forum and check where you can place the Piwik tracking code (should be the same as for google analytics).
