Piwik Database has grown a lot

Hello

I currently use the 0.5.4 version of piwik, I know it’s a Beta version and post new versions 0.6.3.

My problem is that piwik database has grown a lot, both having reached the level of gigabytes.

Is this normal?

They know if it is a problem of version I am currently using or have corrected in newer versions of piwik?

Make sure you’re archiving and deleting old action data. See Troubleshooting - Analytics Platform - Matomo

We’ve been using Piwik since Jan 2008 with 500k+ visits a month and growing. Our DB is only 212MB.
