Piwik and Wordpress

I just installed the latest version of Piwik (2.5.0) for my Wordpress site.

The install went smooth and without errors.
I created an account
Added the Piwik plugin to WordPress
Inserted the token
Checked the checkbox for automatically inserting tracking code into the footer.

That didn’t work.

Then I inserted the tracking code manually to the footer.
The Ghosetry plugin sees there is a piwik tracker active

But no stats appear.

I tested visiting the sites from two devices (laptop and iPhone). Over my own line and thorugh a VPN.

But no stats are generated.

Am I missing something?

Do you see some visitors in the Visitors > Visitor Log and looking at Today’s stats?

will walk through the list at the link you posted. Thnx!

see Piwik doesn't track any visits and pages, and shows "There is no data for this report" in all reports. - Analytics Platform - Matomo

(PS: in Privacy> disable DoNotTrack ?)

It was indeed the ‘do not track’ button… silly.

I also think DNT doesn’t make sense here. For me DNT is about (third-)party cookies that track you across multiple sites.
But that is of course a entirely different discussion.

Thnx Matt for the tip and the awesome work on this piece of indispensable software!
