Piwik and Wordpress Multi Site won't work

Hello,

I have the following setup:

  • Wordpress 3.2.1
  • Piwik 1.5.1
  • Piwik Analytics 1.0.2 (Wordpress plugin)

Installations look like this:

  • I have Piwik installed on the domain http://domain1.se.
  • I have Wordpress Multi Site installed on the domain http://domain2.se, with domain mapping so all my sites have there own domains.

I have installed and activated the Piwik Analytics plugin on root site for Wordpress Multi Site for the hole Wordpress network. After that I have activated the plugin Piwik Analytics individual on the Wordpress site I’m trying to track, we can call this site http://domain3.se.

I have also added the site I want to track in Piwik at the domain http://domain1.se

I have added the following settings for the site I’m trying to track in Piwik Analytics plugin under the site in Wordpress, http://domain3.se:
Piwik site id What’s this? 2
Track downloads: Check
Hostname of the piwik server (optional) What’s this?: domain1.se
Base URL path of piwik installation What’s this?: /piwik/
Track the admin user too: Not checked

I checked in the source code and the only thing I found is “” no javascript code or anything, that you think you should found.

So my problem is that no tracking shows up in my Piwikpanel. That people have been visiting my site. I also have choosen todays date, but no tracking found.

What is wrong and how do I fix it?

If the JS code is not inserted in your pages using this wordpress plugin, I think this is a bug with this plugin.

To my knowledge, the best wordpress plugin is: WP-Matomo (WP-Piwik) — WordPress Plugins
